The All-time Cloth for Stainless Steel

Vinegar (in a spray canteen works best)
Paper towels (optional)
Very soft or microfiber material
Mineral oil (or other oil of your selection — I used olive oil)

Instructions

Determine the direction of the grain: I know that we usually reserve the term "grain" for wood; however, stainless steel too has a grain. Look closely. It will either be running horizontally or vertically. To clean your stainless steel, rub in the direction of that grain.
Practise a preliminary clean of your appliance with vinegar: Spray your appliance liberally with vinegar.
Wipe it down: Using either a paper towel or a very soft textile, wipe the vinegar off in the direction of the grain. This should remove the initial debris from your apparatus and outset to shine it up a bit.
Dip your soft cloth into a piddling bit of oil: You lot don't need a ton, equally y'all tin can always come up back for more.
Polish your appliance: With your oiled-upwards cloth, wipe in the direction of the grain. Yous will offset to run across all of the marks disappear! Now you have a shiny new appliance again!
